Simple and effective practices for healing and self-care.
Our day retreats are typically offered on Saturdays from 10.00am til 4.00pm.
We host regular Yoga sessions, Tai Chi classes and Zen Buddhist practice sessions.
The labyrinth is simply a walking meditative path, once on the path it takes you to the centre and back out again.
A traditional Benedictine practice of scriptural reading, meditation and prayer intended to promote communion with God and to increase the knowledge of God’s Word.
We offer multi day retreats which compliment our shorter Saturday or one day retreats
Meditation is a method of training our minds to become more peaceful – freeing ourselves from any worries and concerns and enabling us to focus on allowing God’s love to flow through us.
Practice sessions in Mindfulness meditation are offered to everyone, novice or old hand.
The Xaverian Outreach programme includes a number of private and public activities intended to offer a welcome and ministry to people who would not otherwise come to the Centre.
Our Poetry and Book Club meets once a month on a Wednesday from 1.30 to 3.00pm.
The group exists to support men on their journey of faith and as well as reflecting on scripture we have input tailored to topics from a men’s perspective.
We offer short courses in various topics. These are not regular events so please watch the calendar.
We host two singing groups,
From time to time we have events that are different and do not fit into any of our other activity categories.
